Engraved Christmas gifts for a couple: two names and one date
Card VI of the tarot is The Lovers. We draw it as two skeletons face to face among roses and engrave it across the front of a genuine Zippo. On our black matte sample the back reads LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK, which is the kind of line that side is for.

Zippo makes the Lovers Zippo in Bradford, PA; the engraving is done here in Texas. Pick the finish with the color of the drawing in mind. Black matte gives gold, brushed chrome gives silver-white, and brushed brass gives beige. The back is about as wide as the flip-top's, so two names and a year fit there, like the JENNA & CHRIS 2027 in the second photo. It comes in the original Zippo box.
There is a second couples' card, called Till Death. A skeleton bride in a veil and a flower crown faces a skeleton groom, and a banner under them says TILL DEATH. It comes on our matte black couples flip-top, and the brushed brass Lovers Zippo is photographed with it too. On the flip-top the card shows up light against the coating. The two names and the date go on the back together, because we never put text on the card side. The lid of the tin can be engraved as well. With front and back engraved, the flip-top costs about half what the Zippo does.

Both lighters arrive without fuel. Any standard lighter fluid fills them. If neither card is right, the lighters collection has the rest, with artwork and without.
A matched pair instead
Some couples would like a piece each. For that, it helps when the piece comes in more than one color and the two can't get mixed up.
Our slim card wallet has four colors, black, silver, blue and green, and apart from the color they're identical: 9 mm thick, up to six cards, a push button that fans them up, and a money clip that comes off. The clip is engraved on every engraved order, and the back plate and the box can be added. For a pair, put the same date on both clips and one initial on each back plate.
The wave flask makes an easy pair because it has two finishes, matte black and brushed silver. One monogram on both turns out silver-white on the black flask and dark gray on the other. Its 5.4 oz body is curved, which is why we keep it to initials, a monogram, a name or a date. Anything more detailed belongs on a flat-sided flask like the 6 oz pocket flask.
Whatever goes into the engraving box is what we engrave, dots and all. Pick a format for the date, 12.24.2026 or December 24, 2026, and type it the same way for both.
