Christmas gifts for someone who travels for work, engraved
Thirty-two magnets are set into the aluminum shell of our magnetic card wallet. That's enough to hold it on the back of a magnetic phone. Then the cards travel with the phone.
For someone who is away most weeks, we'd pick pieces that get used on the road, and engrave them where the engraving will be seen.
On the money clip

The magnetic card wallet is 9 mm thick and holds six cards, or five if they're embossed. Press the button and they rise in a fan. Slide the button up to the lock and they stay put; in any lower position they can slide out, so it's worth showing whoever gets it. The shell blocks RFID scanning. You'll also find it listed as the RFID card holder, which is the same wallet.
One limit: on a phone inside a case, the wallet only holds if the case has its own magnetic ring or a magnetic sticker is added, and neither comes with it.
Every engraved order includes the money clip, and that's the surface that shows each time the wallet comes out. You can also have the back plate engraved, or the box, or both. Initials or a short name fit the clip best.
On the front flap
The travel watch roll only makes sense for someone who packs a watch or two. It comes in sizes for one, two or three, with a padded slot for every watch, so they don't touch. The smallest roll is 3.90 by 2.91 by 2.80 inches; the three-watch roll stretches to 7.80 inches. We weighed all three. The largest is 11.2 oz empty.

Outside it's PU with an ostrich pattern on a stiff frame, and inside it's fleece. That listing is the brown roll, the one in the photo with AT and Andrew Thorn on the flap; the black roll has a page of its own. The engraving comes out light beige. It goes on the front, and you can add the back. One habit to pass on: fasten the watch straps before rolling it up, so the buckles don't press into the fleece.
On the cap or the body

The titanium EDC pen is 5.20 inches long, in silver or gold. It's the one to keep in the jacket for arrival cards and hotel forms. A name can go on the cap, along the body or on both, and there's an option to engrave the gift box too. The area is narrow. A name or initials engrave clean; a detailed logo may lose its fine lines. The mark reads darker than the titanium.
