Which engraved flask fits, and how to look after it
Three of our four flasks hold 6 oz. The one that holds less, the wave flask at 5.4 oz, is the tallest of them: 6.22 inches, against 4.76 for the flat flask.

Which one
For a jacket pocket, the black hip flask is the thinnest at 0.75 inches. Its front is flat and its back curves in toward the body. We only engrave the front, since that curve would not take a clean mark and we would rather not sell one that looks wrong.
For the most text, take the 6 oz pocket flask. Both of its faces are flat and take fine detail, so a long message or a full logo fits, and the back can carry a second one. The military flask is the same flask with badge designs ready for the Air Force, the Navy, the Army, the Marines and the Coast Guard.
For something that sits close, the wave flask bends to follow the hip and lies nearer the body than a flat flask. That curve is also why it takes a monogram or a short name better than a paragraph. It comes in matte black or brushed stainless steel, with a threaded steel cap, and it has no gift box.
Looking after any of the four
The care is the same for all of them:
- Rinse it thoroughly before the first fill, and after every use.
- It is for spirits, and they shouldn't stay inside for more than a few days.
- No acidic drinks: no juice and no citrus.
- Wash it by hand only.
None of the four comes with a funnel, so if it is going to be filled before it is given, have one ready. All four are also in the flasks collection.
