What to engrave, from two initials to a full line

On our sample pen the cap reads ANDREW and the body reads BEST BRO. That split, a name on the small surface and a few words on the longer one, works on most of what we engrave. Most of the text boxes on our product pages have no character limit, so the limit is the size of the metal.

Two or three letters

The wave flask is curved to follow the hip, and its face suits a monogram, initials, a short name or a date more than fine detail. Our black sample has an AT monogram with the name ANDREW THORN; the silver one has an A/D monogram and nothing else. On the black finish the letters come out silver-white, on the brushed silver one dark gray.

The money clip of our slim card wallet is the other place we would keep to initials or a first name. It is engraved on every engraved order. If there is also a date, the back plate can be added for it.

The titanium keychain is the one piece where we set the limit ourselves: its face takes up to three initials, with one of our six designs or your own artwork. Our rainbow sample says A/D. A name or a short message goes on the lid of its aluminum gift box. The box is never engraved on its own, only along with the keychain.

A name and a year

A Zippo is 1.50 inches wide, enough for a name across the front with a short line under it. Our samples show two ways to do it. On brushed brass, an R/S monogram sits over ROBERTO SIROS and 2026. On the brushed chrome Zippo, three stacked lines read AUDEMARS DONGUEN, BEST MAN and 2026, with no monogram at all. The finish sets the color, and we can't change it: gold from black matte, silver-white from chrome, beige from brass.

A short sentence

The back of the same Zippo takes a sentence of a few words. On our black matte sample the back says LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK, seven words.

For anything longer, go to a flat face. The 6 oz pocket flask has two, each 4.76 by 3.54 inches, and both take fine detail. One of our samples pairs a laurel M monogram with the line You light up my world, one on each face. That is the flask to choose for a longer message or a full logo.

A logo

Choose Custom Logo under Design and upload the file: AI, SVG, PNG or PDF, up to 20 MB. Line-based logos engrave most cleanly from the vector formats, AI, SVG and PDF. Match the logo to the surface the same way as text. A crest with fine lines belongs on the flat flask; the pen's cap suits a simple mark.

Before you add it to the cart

We engrave exactly what is in the box, letter for letter, spaces and punctuation included. Read it over once more, slowly, before you order. You can still cancel within 2 hours of ordering; after that the piece is in engraving and the text can't be changed.
