Product details
A stainless steel flip-top lighter in matte black, 2.24 by 1.46 by 0.47 inches and 52 grams, with The Truck Driver artwork, a skeleton at the wheel on an open road, engraved on the front. The back takes a name, a date or a short message, and the tin lid can be engraved as well. The flip-top is windproof, so the flame holds outdoors. Ships without fluid; fill it before the first use.
Personalization
Pick any of Designs 1 to 18 for the front; The Truck Driver is Design 11. Your own words go on the back or the tin lid, chosen in the Engraving menu, and never across the card. Artwork of your own goes under Your Custom Logo. The mark shows light against the coating.
Names, initials, logos or simple line designs. Engraving is permanent and high contrast. Check spelling and layout before ordering, since we engrave exactly what is submitted. Proofs are available on request before production.
Back engraving uses the font shown in the example. For a different style, tell us in the engraving note or choose Custom and upload your own handwriting or artwork.
Logo files: AI, SVG, PNG or PDF, up to 20 MB.

About your engraving
The preview on this page shows the layout and style of your design. The finished piece can differ slightly from what you see on screen.
Size and placement. We fit each design to the engraving area of the item, so its final size and position may vary a little from the preview. If you need a specific size or an exact placement, request a proof before we engrave.
Engraving color. Laser engraving is not printing: no ink is added, the laser changes the surface itself. The color of the mark depends on the material and finish of the item and cannot be changed to another color.
Item color. Screens and product photos show color differently, so the finish may look slightly different in person.

Shipping and Returns
Every piece is engraved to order. An order placed before 12:00 PM Central Time on a business day starts production that day; an order placed later, or on a weekend or holiday, starts the next business day. That first production day is day 1. Standard orders ship 3 to 5 business days after day 1, or 1 to 3 business days after day 1 without engraving. Next Day ships 1 business day after day 1. Same Day ships the day you order if you order before 12:00 PM Central Time on a business day; after 12:00 PM it is engraved that day and ships the next shipping day. We ship Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays from November 14 to December 12. Delivery is separate and depends on the shipping method you choose at checkout; USPS Ground Advantage usually takes 3 to 5 business days. Free shipping on US orders of $150 and above.
All sales are final on personalized items, and you're responsible for the accuracy of the text you provide. We engrave exactly what's submitted. If your order arrives damaged, or with an engraving error on our end, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos for a free replacement.
Care
Fill with standard lighter fluid before first use.
Replace the flint and wick as they wear.
Wipe with a dry cloth; abrasives will mark the coating.

The Truck Driver card, a skeleton at the wheel on an open road, is Design 11 in our set of 18 Occasion cards, and any of the 18 can go on the front. Your name, a date or a few words go on the back, and there is room on the tin lid as well. The body is matte black stainless steel, 57 x 37 x 12 mm and 52 g, with a windproof lid. Ships without fluid.
